aww man..how adorable.
there..fel, jessic, ham & yas. =)
On a note, i seriously love impromptu programmes.
Which, reminds me of the aussie trip.
One fine day.
Bernie: hey wanna go australia during the holidays? we can stay over at my aunt's place.
Me: omg! hell yes.
Bernie: okay we'll check out the tixs and i'll email my aunt.
Bernie: its done lets book the tixs.
Me: okay, we'll check out the tixs and airline then.
Another fine day, out with shir and neece.
Me: i'll be leaving for australia with bernie next wk.
Shir: OMG!! i wanna go too.
Me: great! you call up bernie now.
And the next thing we knew, we were booking the tixs just a few days before our departure date.
And the best part was, we were only packing our luggage juz before the day we were leaving.
Everything felt so rushed yet, crazily fun.
Okay, i'm saving up and leaving a sum of cash in my bank a/c for another impromptu trip.
So, attended cousin's band concert today. I thought i've lost all interest regarding those once familiar notes, rhythms, melodies and sound.
Guess i was wrong. Reminded me of many umm fond memories i would suppose. The sound of the trumpet sounded so bright and ringing. I sure did missed the sound of it.
Anyway, the band sounded really neat. The balance was there, moving along with the music as one and the music they played was really sincere. I dunnoe why i felt that way. Perhaps, everything was so simple yet so enjoyable..
It was indeed a nice sight. In fact, they sounded better as compared to shss which really did quite surprised me. Well, since she was from tamp sec and i've always thought shss was way better. Guess i've been bias.
After the concert, dad brought me and sis for a drive along the geylang alleys. He was 'educating' us on the life of prostitution. Hah, goodness he can sure be open minded at times like this. We made sure we locked all four doors before heading in the alleys. And MY MY, we had a hilarious time in the car discussing, laughing, being disgusted and so on. It was such an *eye opener*. Wanted to try out the local delights in geylang but no luck, there wasn't any parking lot. So supper was at kallang's old changi road instead.
Times like these really brightens up the gloomy days.
